He was doing a book reading/signing in manchester for his new reliese “The Steep Approach To Garbadale”. I can honestly say that hes nothing if not charming, down to earth and ultimatly a naturaly funny guy.
He signed my copy of The Wasp Factory and also his new book, which im part way through now =]
Yarrrg!!! Coz her birthday is in December a fine time of year to be born..awsome taste in music!! So I can say I know sum one in England…...I dunno coz i want to… :)
Well its not only for his very awesome and extensive musical taste; i mean come on anyone who loves The Smiths cant be half bad ;)
And its not only for the fact that he resides in Manchester, which lets face it, is a bloody exelent city to live in.
But also because he just so happens to have been born on the 12th December which in my book is the best day of the year!

She is kick arse cool, similar to a penguin in an igloo eating a cornetto, with penguin shades on, listening to jazz his arctic ipod. plus she has seen Death Cab For Cutie.
Is that she can fire ping-pong balls 20 feet with her fanny if you thought she was great on 43t, she’s even better in person! :D

I already leech music (well, band names at least) from her. Although I’ve only scratched the surface.
She does sound a bit crazy and not a little bit intimidating. But anyone who dresses up as a pirate can’t be all bad.
I want to meet this kick ass gal cause she’s crazy ace, pirate style.
We’d have lots of drunken antics, and I’m pretty sure we’ll end up on one of those cop shows for bein drunk and disorderly.
Oh and not to forget the stalking. There has to be stalking.
I’ll let her pick the victim though.
Oh and plus she’s úber-pretty. We’ll be fighting off all the horny guys who want a piece.
She should be careful what she wishes for. I only live about 2 miles away, and we will probably bump into each other one day, especially if she starts drinking in more local establishments ;)
She’s a groovy gal with great taste in music, and a brilliant sense of humour.
